I had planned to write about personal declarations of independence; freedom from chronic dieting and restriction, liberation from nonreciprocating relationships, and leading an autonomous life.

I had planned to write about the power of saying, “No”, without explanation. As a dear friend is oft to remid me, “No is a complete sentence.”

And then the earthquake hit. It was a 6.4, centered about 121 miles Northeast of Los Angeles in Ridgecrest. I’ve been to Ridgecrest, to the China Lake Naval Air Weapons Station to be exact, in my previous career. Having driven there it seems far away and yet th**Desiree is facilitating “Praxis of Liberation” workshops in August, 2019. I will be at the Denver training – – a chance to see Desiree Adaway AND Carmen Cool (another mentor) is like winning the lottery.**
